WWE Monday Night RAW this week (8/23) saw an unfortunate incident. Best friends, The Miz and John Morrison, have broken up after the former WWE Champion attacked Morrison.

The tension started when The Miz arrived at Morrison’s Moist TV. This week Logan Paul was the special guest. There, during a confrontation between the Must-See superstar and YouTuber-turned-boxer, Morrison sided with his host instead of his best friend.

The superstar said he gave out the Moist TV to Morrison out of the goodness of his heart. Whereas Morrison blamed his best friend for making the interview all about himself instead of the guest.

The topic then escalated to Miz being unhappy with Morrison’s recent ‘drips’ whereas Morrison accused The Miz of faking his injury. They continued arguing till Xavier Woods of the New Day came out for his match with The Miz.

During the match, Morrison stood in his best friend’s corner as everything seemed alright. He even yelled at Woods to leave Miz’s hurt knee (which he earlier accused Miz of faking) alone.

Outside of the ring, Morrison took the drip stick and poured a bucket of water at ringside. He also splashed the floor with water. But instead of Woods, The Miz slipped on it.

The Miz tried to pin Woods back-to-back, first with a DDT and second time with The Skull Crushing Finale. However, Morrison unknowingly distracted the referee. Meanwhile, Woods countered with a roll-up and won the match.

Following the match, John Morrison joked around and said it was just an accident. They grabbed the drip sticks, but The A-Lister attacked Morrison from behind.

The men brawled inside and outside of the ring until the former WWE Champion hit the Skull Crushing Finale to Morrison to end the segment.

In a later promo, a distraught Morrison said his friend was over. There would be “no more Miz TV. No more dirt sheet, no more music videos.” Next week on RAW, the former best friends will meet to settle their scores once and for all.

WWE broke apart The Miz and John Morrison for the first time since the latter came back to WWE. This means either or both of them will now be getting pushed into the singles competition.
