Robert Roode, on the other hand, made his WWE return after several months of absence. He got a title match against Drew as he returned, thanks to an open challenge. However, he succumbed to McIntyre’s Claymore Kick and lost the opportunity.

Despite the loss, the “Glorious One” cut a backstage promo after the match. Roode and his tag-team partner, Dolph Ziggler, said they were tired to see McIntyre getting everything. They believe they don’t need to prove themselves after years in the industry. In the end, they vowed to return next week “with a different result.”

Street Profits defeated Andrade and Angel Garza and retained their tag-team titles at the previous PPV. Despite being newbies on the main roster, the duo is slowly becoming popular among the WWE Universe. Maybe, to add more to that popularity, the duo got a place the main event alongside such huge names.
