Huge Update on NXT Champion Karrion Kross and Bronson Reed Moving to WWE RAW

WWE might be looking at some new superstars for the main rosters. Last Friday, various reports surfaced that claimed NXT Champion Karrion Kross (with Penelope) and NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed were backstage at SmackDown.
This week, it is being reported that Reed and Kross, were present backstage during Monday Night RAW. Last week was a tryout of both men before moving them to the main roster.

Not only were they present, but Wrestling Observer is also reporting that the NXT Champions worked in dark matches for WWE Main Event ahead of RAW. WWE officials surely want to move them up the ladder soon.
On their dark matches tonight, Kross defeated Shelton Benjamin earlier in the afternoon. In the second Main Event match, Bronson Reed defeated Drew Gulak.

Interestingly, Scarlett, the manager of Kross, was not at ringside for the match. However, there are reports that Scarlett will have her separate tryout this Friday, meaning the three superstars can be backstage at SmackDown again.
As we mentioned earlier, Bronson and Karrion hold the top titles in NXT. Kross is the current NXT Champion. He is on his second reign and successfully defending the title at NXT TakeOver: In Your House in a five-way match.
Meanwhile, Reed is on his first reign as the NXT North American champion. At TakeOver: In Your House, Reed teamed up with NXT Tag Team champions MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee), and successfully defended their titles against Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Jouaqin Wilde, Raul Mendoza).

Will we see Karrion Kross and Bronson Reed soon on the main roster?
The two champions have already expressed their wish to move up the ladder. Both men are different, yet similar in their highly physical style of wrestling.
Both are heels on the black and gold brand and have faced each other in the past. However, it might take a while before we see them on the main roster.

While he is popular, Karrion is on his second reign as the champion, hence WWE would build some momentum upon him ahead of shifting to the main roster. Bronson Reed also needs to gear up on the popularity so that when he comes fans know who he is.
Yet, there is a possibility that the duo would come to the main roster after the live crowd is back. Since the Red Brand’s locker room is a bit congested with superstars, chances of them going to the Blue Brand.
