WWE NXT Champion Karrion Kross debuted on the main roster at WWE Monday Night RAW tonight (7/19). However, his debut did not go as planned thanks to WWE Icon Jeff Hardy.

Karrion debuted without his valet Scarlett tonight. Jeff Hardy came out to his old theme song ‘No More Words’ as the crowd greeted him with a huge cheer. The match was a non-title match.

Early in the match, Kross dominated Hardy with back-to-back big suplexes overhead. After a stomp, Kross yelled at Hardy about ‘owning him,’ followed by another big suplex.

However, Hardy gets an opening after Kross hit the ring post. ‘The Charismatic Enigma‘ hit a Twist of Fate and laid The NXT Champion flat out. Hardy went to the top for a Swanton Bomb but Kross moved at the last minute.

Kross waited for Hardy to get up to change him with a forearm. However, Hardy blocked the move and was met with a back elbowed and more offenses.

In another sudden opening, Hardy powerbombed Kross to the mat and quickly rolled him up for the win. This is Kross’ first-ever pinfall loss in WWE since his debut in 2020.

Following the match, Hardy left the arena but Kross stood in the ring in disbelief. In an in-ring interview, Kross said Hardy made the biggest mistake of his life after defeating the NXT Champion.

He swore revenge as he said, “in the end… everyone will fall and pray.” He then grabbed the NXT title belt and left the ring. But fans would definitely see more of him in the days to come.

This could be a new start for Kross. However, before moving to the WWE main roster, he needs to lose the NXT title. His impending rivalry could groom him for the better.

Kross would be in great hands as Jeff Hardy is known for putting new talent over. Till then, maybe Scarlett could also get ready for the main roster.
