“That’s Money For Me” – Booker T Picks Bobby Lashley Over Shinsuke Nakamura to Fight Roman Reigns

Recently, Shinsuke Nakamura has been making waves on the SmackDown roster. He recently stole King Corbin’s crown, signaling an interesting change in character. However, Booker T does not think it would land him a world title shot.
On the latest episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T and Brad Gilmore discussed Roman Reigns’ next opponent after Cesaro. While Booker T has some strong opinions about Cesaro’s replacement, Shinsuke is not in there.
“Personally, I’m not a big Shinsuke fan. As far as him being able to match up properly with Roman Reigns, I just don’t see that,” Booker said. “I do see an inter-cross promotion championship match with the No. 1 guy from The Hurt Business, the CEO, that’s Bobby Lashley.”

Booker reminisced about his old days and said Lashley might take over the wrestling world as he dominates RAW and SmackDown simultaneously. This is something Booker aspired to do but could not.
“He’d take the whole damn wrestling world by going over there and beating Roman Reigns, doing something that not even I, King Booker, achieved. That’s money for me.
“Something like that. It’s got to be somebody that’s going to match up size-wise with Roman Reigns, and right now Roman is top-notch. He’s the guy that I always said, Roman Reigns makes everybody that works with him a better worker. As good as Cesaro is, he’s a better worker working with Roman Reigns,” said Booker T.
Booker T discussed possible opponents for Roman Reigns
Brad Gilmour asked Booker T about Roman’s next opponent from the blue brand. While not many could reach the level of Reigns, T named some of the athletes.

Apart from Cesaro and Braun Strowman, Booker named Big E, Bobby Roode, Apollo Crews, Jinder Mahal, and Karrion Kross as possible future opponents as “they look the part.” Damien Priest, John Cena (“the guy’s busy”) and Mace did not make the final cut.

Booker T also had an interesting take on Keith Lee. Lee has been under the radar for a while and there has been something going on. “I don’t know. They have been really keeping it hush-hush as far as what’s going on with Keith Lee. It’s gotta be something medically for a guy like him not to be performing.”
