WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will face Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the Survivor Series main event this Sunday. This match decides the brand supremacy and establishes the winner as the ‘top guy’ of WWE.

While Roman Reigns has been on the top of the mountain for quite some time now, McIntyre is ready to take that spot away. But before doing so, he understands what is at stake.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Drew McIntyre spoke about how Reigns has been the top guy due to his own credibility. “Roman has been the man for so many years in WWE,” said McIntyre. “There is something so special about his presence. He’s phenomenal in the ring, he’s a leader in the ring, and he’s reached this level for a reason.”

However, McIntyre is doing everything he can to establish brand supremacy as well as his name on the top.

“I’m putting in the work, and I’m going to keep doing that. When you think WWE, you think Roman Reigns. I want people to think of Drew McIntyre, and they’re going to after Survivor Series.”

Roman Reigns insulted Raw and Drew McIntyre on SmackDown

Last week on SmackDown, Drew McIntyre dropped by and taunted Reigns. However, Reigns turned it around and said no one watches Raw anymore as SmackDown is the “it show,” thanks to Reigns.

Ever since Reigns came back, people forgot about McIntyre. The Scottish Psychopath said he would win the WWE Championship on RAW and beat Reigns at Survivor Series. Now that the first part of the claim is done, we have to see if the latter claim comes true.

McIntyre said, “I love representing Raw. That’s the show I grew up watching and the one that defines wrestling. Roman and Paul can think whatever they want, but just know that I love proving people wrong.”
