Ronda Rousey Blames the Fans for Bray Wyatt’s WWE Release
Follow Us
It has been a few days since the shocking news of Bray Wyatt, a.k.a. The Fiend’s release broke. The world of pro wrestling fell into a frenzy as no one expected it to happen. Many current and ex-WWE wrestlers also tweeted about the same. Former WWE Raw Women’s Champion, Ronda Rousey, also had something to say about Wyatt’s release.
‘The Baddest Woman on the Planet‘ is known for her outspoken character and she lived up to that when she tweeted that the WWE Universe was to blame for Wyatt’s release. She even called the fans “idiots”.

I’ve seen you same “fans” chanting #WeWantWyatt last night chanting “We want beach balls” over @WWEBrayWyatt performing. If the @wwe treated him like he was expendable it was because you ungrateful idiots did first

The fans feel The Fiend was the best thing in Raw in ages. His character and gimmick were a breath of fresh air in an environment of stale storylines and gimmicks. Thus, the fans and Wyatt’s colleagues couldn’t believe the news.
Is Ronda Rousey correct?
Ronda’s statement is controversial, to say the least. Safe to say that it did not sit well with every fan and they too had something to say.
Wow. What a crap take. First, we didn’t book him to lose in HIAC; to Goldberg; or in his inferno match. Second, we just got out of the silent arena era…to complain about any fan response is idiotic. I love Bray/Windham & can’t wait to see him soon. But, wow this was dumb

The fans were understandably angry with Ronda’s comments. However, there were a few fans who agreed with her.

Shes speaking facts iv been a huge fan of wyatt’s but some crowds ruined alot of his big moments cause hijacking shows was fad for example chanting cm punk while a up and coming wrestler is doing a promo doesnt help the wrestler who’s trying to get over js
— Nightofthelivingchad 💀💀 (@Chadtastic27) August 3, 2021
The debate about the subject will continue. There is no right or wrong here, just divided opinions. Ultimately, it rests with WWE as to why they released Bray Wyatt. The fans can only speculate what’s next.
