WWE Disappoints Fans Yet Again With the Final Edition to the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

In the Women’s Money in the Bank this year, there was a sudden change. As Bayley was unable to compete in the title match, Carmella was pulled from the ladder match and will face Bianca Belair on SmackDown for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

For this decision, MITB will not have the SmackDown Women’s title match. Similarly. there was one less contender in the ladder match. After many speculations, WWE has announced the contender.

Turns out, Tamina will be the final contender in the match. After this announcement, both the Women’s Tag Team champions, Tamina and Natalya, will compete in the ladder match for the coveted MITB contract/briefcase.

The final lineup for MITB Women’s Ladder match is – Asuka, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, Nikki A.S.H, Liv Morgan, Zelina Vega, Natalya, and Tamina. Natalya was a part of all the Women’s MITB matches until last year.

This would be Tamina’s second Money in the Bank appearance after the inaugural match at the 2017 event. Back then, Carmella won the match with the help of James Ellsworth.

Tamina and Natalya react to the official MITB news

After the news broke, both superstars reacted in glee. Both of them retweeted the news and gave their thoughts and opinions. Tamina said this year has been full of surprises, from WrestleMania to her first title win.

“This year has been a whirlwind. First, making history at WrestleMania, then going on to win tag team gold with my Baby G, @NatbyNature and now this. I’m humbled and hungry for greatness. This Sunday at #MITB I’m gonna eat,” Tamina said.

Natalya had a similar reaction, “My @TaminaSnuka being announced as the last competitor in the #MITB match! It’s times like these that I couldn’t be more proud of Tamina. I hope she remembers in the match what I’ve helped her achieve, what WE have achieved! Damn, I’m good. Damn, we are good! Love you, Baby G.”
