Becky Lynch Makes An Early Return to WWE SmackDown

Former Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is out of in-ring action due to maternity leave. She and ‘Friday Night Messiah’ Seth Rollins are expecting their first child together. According to recent reports, Becky Lynch was there with Rollins on his first night on SmackDown.

Ringside News first reported the incident as they revealed that Lynch was there to support Rollins.

Alex McCarthy of TalkSport further confirmed the news. He said –

Apart from Becky, WWE had several special guests appear on the ThunderDome screens to make the show feel special. Ric Flair, Brie Bella, Goldberg, and Jeff Jarrett were featured.

Becky Lynch is rumored to headline WrestleMania next year

Becky Lynch has no intention of retiring from wrestling. She hasn’t been on WWE TV since May when she revealed that she was pregnant. She found out about the pregnancy in April and said she’s due in December.

According to wrestlingnews, Vince McMahon hopes to get Lynch and Ronda Rousey back in time for next year’s WrestleMania. The match could also become the main event at WrestleMania 37. The source further said, “Vince is hoping for Becky to be back in January or February to start the one-on-one feud with Ronda.”

The duo previously headlined last year’s WrestleMania with Charlotte Flair. Lynch emerged victorious with both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Titles.

Lynch forfeited her Raw Women’s title to Asuka at this year’s WrestleMania. She then went off-air to take care of her baby.
