This Friday Night was anyway a wild ride, but the closing segment shocked the fans the most.

Braun Strowman made his way to the ring with a shaved head. He started addressing “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt and referred to their swamp fight at Extreme Rules last month. Strowman dares Wyatt to come down to the ring so that he could rip him apart, and consume his entrails.

Alexa Bliss confronts Braun Strowman

Instead, it was Alexa Bliss who came down to the ring. Previously on the show, she sat down and explained how she was bothered by Strowman’s insignificance towards her.

Bliss tried to talk some sense into him and talked about rekindling their friendship.

However, Strowman snubbed her aside and said she always used him and made him feel like a clown.

Bliss tried to slap some sense into him. Strowman, in a fit of rage, lifted Bliss over his head and slammed her onto the mat as the lights went out.

This ploy of calling out The Fiend worked. When the lights came back on, Fiend was in the ring hovering over Bliss. With Strowman gone, Bliss sat there, afraid and confused.

After a while, the Jumbotron lit up and Braun was seen laughing on the screen. Fiend clutched his head and started laughing with him. Bliss stared at both men as SmackDown went off-air with Wyatt saying “Let Me In.”

The show ended on an ambiguous note with the future of Bliss in question. The Universal Champion might have turned heel as he attacked Bliss.

The rivalry of the former teammates is getting interesting day-by-day.

Overall, the Fiend storyline is one of the best that WWE has produced in recent times. The longevity is due to the brilliant and eerie storytelling, which makes the feuds and matches more exciting.
