For the first time in 70 weeks, WWE SmackDown returned to the live shows with a sold-out crowd in Toyota Centre, Houston, Texas on Friday night (7/16). And there was no one better than Vince McMahon to welcome the WWE Universe to the new normal.

Mr. McMahon came down from the guerilla position and greeted the WWE Universe with a simple but effective “Where the hell have you been?” Following this, Roman Reigns and The Usos first made their entrance for the much anticipated six-man tag team match.

SmackDown Tag Team champions Dominik and Rey Mysterio were up next. It was also Dominik’s first match in front of the live WWE crowd. Then, the WWE Hall of Famer Edge was greeted with warm applause from the WWE Universe.

All titles in this match will be on the line at Sunday’s Money in the Bank. Rey and Dominik Mysterio will defend the Tag Titles against The Usos in the pre-show, and the ‘Tribal Chief’ will defend his title on the main show against Edge.

Jey and Edge started off the match as the babyfaces took the reign. They dominated Jey and Jimmy onto their side. Jimmy sneaked in a tag and let Jey take over, and soon, Roman Reigns was back in action against Dominik with some quick tags.

The Tribal Chief slammed the Young Mysterio into the announce table with a powerbomb. Back from the commercial, Jimmy and Dominik were working in the ring.
