Is Cesaro Ruled Out of WWE Hell in a Cell 2021 Following in Injury on SmackDown

WWE Superstar Cesaro came through in his match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania Backlash 2021. However, despite multiple finishers, Cesaro failed to win the Universal title.

After the match, both Jey Uso and Seth Rollins attacked Cesaro. The latter came down and smashed Cesaro’s already injured arm with a steel chair.

On this week’s SmackDown (5/21/21), the former Intercontinental champion came back to confront Reigns again. The “Swiss Cyborg” said he was looking for Rollins but came across Reigns’ “Parade of Champions.”

He demanded a rematch with Roman Reigns at the upcoming Hell in a Cell. Before Reigns could answer, Seth Rollins appeared and assaulted his WrestleMania opponent some more. As the officials were taking Cesaro backstage, Rollins Stomp kicked Cesaro.

When he was being taken out on a stretcher, Rollins assaulted Cesaro again. He repeatedly kept saying, “This is your fault. When are you gonna learn?” implying a new angle in their rivalry.

What is in store for Cesaro?

As of now, there is no news of whether he had an injury from the assault. However, considering the intensity of the attack, Cesaro would likely be out of action for a couple of weeks.

As of Hell in a Cell, there is no news on storylines as well. When he comes back, he could either restart his feud with Rollins, continue fighting Roman Reigns or take on both inside the Cell.

There is another possibility that Jimmy Uso might help him out in his match against Roman Reigns. The tension between Roman and Jimmy keeps rising each week. This week, Roman manipulated Jey into defying Jimmy.

Rollins, on the other hand, has kept the Swiss man in his mind altogether. The Swiss Cyborg utterly humiliated Rollins in his first WrestleMania match.

Cesaro started receiving a major push in his career earlier this year. Despite being one of the top wrestlers on the main roster, Cesaro has always been a mid-card performer.

However, his feud with Rollins catapulted him into the main title scene. At WrestleMania Backlash 2021, he received the first world title shot of his career against Roman Reigns.

In conclusion, Cesaro might not appear on SmackDown in a while, but he would possibly recover by Hell in a Cell.
