WWE SmackDown turned into Kevin Owens Stunner zone this week. From Roman Reigns’ island, the blue brand became the land of the stunner.

Earlier tonight (February 12), Adam Pearce and Paul Heyman debated over the mechanics of SmackDown’s Elimination Chamber match at the eponymous pay-per-view. After much deliberation, it was decided that the winner of the match will get a shot at Roman Reigns‘ Universal title on the same night.

Adam Pearce made Jey Uso and Kevin Owens the first two contenders of the match. His assistant Sonya Deville then came up with the idea to select the contenders via tag team matches.

In the first match of the night, Sami Zayn and King Corbin defeated Rey and Dominik Mysterio to qualify for the match. Later in the main event, Daniel Bryan and Cesaro defeated SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.

Following the match, a huge brawl broke out between the contestants. Jey Uso, Zayn, and Corbin joined in on the action. Everyone turned on their respective partners as hell broke loose.

Kevin Owens came in and delivered Stunners to everyone

During the brawl, Kevin Owens made his second main event appearance after last week. He came out to a huge pop and rushed inside the ring.

Without wasting any time, Owens delivered Stunners to everyone in the ring, similar to what “Stone Cold” Steve Austin used to do in the Attitude Era.

Uso and Owens were the only ‘honorary’ contenders into the Elimination Chamber match. While Owens is an obvious choice, putting Jey Uso in the match may cause trouble for him and Roman Reigns.
