On SmackDown last Friday, Bianca Belair defeated Liv Morgan, Carmella, and Zelina Vega to earn her title opportunity against Becky Lynch. Despite losing the match, Liv was not disappointed. Apparently, she has her goals set.

Although it sounds strange, Morgan was happy to be back in the ring. At the opening segment last SmackDown, she came back to WWE after a few weeks of inactivity and confronted all the women present in the ring. She wanted a title shot in her own right.

In her Talking Smack Interview with Kayla Braxton, she revealed a little secret. Apparently, when Lynch left last year, ‘The Man‘ gave some wishful advice to Morgan.

You wanna know a little secret?” Morgan said. “When Becky left, I gave her a hug goodbye. She whispered in my ear, ‘When I come back, you are going to be champion.’ I’ve thought about that every single day. She’s back, and I’m not a champion.”

“But I’m looking so, so, so forward to proving her right. Maybe, not on her timeline, but I’m going to be champion, and I’d love to take it off of Becky Lynch,” she said.

Morgan was very close to a title opportunity at Money in the Bank. On several occasions, she was going to unclasp the briefcase from the hook. However, Nikki A.S.H. ultimately won the match and cashed in the next night to become the RAW Women’s Champion.

Liv Morgan is not sad after losing the fatal-four-way match

In the fatal-four-way match, Morgan gave a good fight eliminating Carmella. Yet, former champion Bianca won after pinning Morgan. However, she is focusing on positive vibes.

“Honestly, I know I lost, but I feel like a winner. I feel fantastic!” Liv Morgan said with a smile. “Not only did I bring Bianca Belair, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion, 2021 Royal Rumble winner, ESPY winner, but I brought her to the limit.”

“I know no matter what, she is going to remember the day that she was in the ring with me. I have so many tricks up my sleeve, Kayla, that I’m taking this with a lot of gratitude.” Morgan concluded, “I honestly feel great!”

2021 has not been kind to her. In of the releases, her longtime tag-team partner, Ruby Riott, was cut off. Since then, Morgan has been on her own. She is a fan favorite and determined, and can very well be the next Women’s Champion.
