Otis and Chad Gable Viciously Assault Angelo Dawkins on WWE Smackdown

After last week’s transformation, WWE superstar and former 24/7 champion, Otis, looked forward to achieving a victory on this week’s SmackDown (6/18). He faced one-half of The Street Profits, Angelo Dawkins, in a singles competition.
Last week, Chad Gable and Montez Ford fought each other while WWE barred Otis and Dawkins from ringside. But things did not turn out as planned as Otis attacked Dawkins backstage before heading out to the ring and attacking Ford.
This week was a redemption match for Dawkins as he faced Otis. However, the match had a similar result as last week. Dawkins was left alone as Ford recovered from a fractured rib from last week’s assault at home.

Even before the match started, the Alpha Academy came through with their tricks as they attacked Dawkins at ringside. They slammed Dawkins’ already injured shoulder into the steel ring steps.
When he was taken into the ring, Gable held Dawkins as Otis tortured him some more. Following a big double team German suplex, Dawkins again ended up outside the ring as the officials checked upon him. There was no sign of guilt on the Alpha Academy.

Otis is on a vicious streak on WWE SmackDown
Judging from his actions, Otis no longer the happy-go-lucky babyface. After a series of betrayals and missed opportunities, Otis lost his Money in the Bank contract and his former tag team partner Tucker.
Recently, he came under the wings of Chad Gable. With a promise to uplift Otis and himself to greatness, Gable has been mentoring him to ‘greatness.’ Last week’s attack seemed to be motivated by Gable’s advice.

As Otis has become completely unpredictable, it is hard to predict who his next target would be. Apart from The Street Profits, the only face tag team in the Blue Brand is Rey and Dominik Mysterio, but they also have their hands full with The Usos.
