“Otis Is Still Angry” – Gable Issues Threat to Angelo Dawkins Following His Partner’s Injury on WWE SmackDown

On the last episode of WWE SmackDown, former Mr. Money in the Bank Otis solidified his role as a heel. He attacked Montez Ford in his match against Otis’ tag partner Chad Gable.
Earlier in the night, Gable tried to warn The Street Profits off by saying how unpredictable Otis is, and how he has grown overprotective of Gable. The Street Profits ridiculed Alpha Academy and ended up in the match.
Following Otis’ brutal assault, WWE reported that Ford suffered from a partial rib fracture and torn intercostal cartilage. He was being treated at the local medical centre.

Gable soon got the news. But instead of being compassionate he ridiculed and threatened the former Tag Team champions some more on Twitter.
“So I guess the secret to getting The Profits to shut their mouths is shattering their ribs, Gable wrote. “Works for me. Oh, and Angelo Dawkins… Otis is still angry.”

Otis also threatened Angelo Dawkins with “One Down……… One to Go…………” on his Twitter. Something bad is going to happen to Dawkins next week it seems.

Otis debuted a new look on WWE SmackDown after he helped Chad Gable
In the match on Friday, Otis and Dawkins were not allowed at the ringside. However, Otis found and ravaged Dawkins before making his way to the ring.
As he entered the ring, the match was over. Fans noticed that Otis is now clean shaved and is sporting a pony as he attacked Ford, slamming him to the commentary table.

With the debut off this new look, WWE is trying to completely dissociate Otis from his former gimmick of a babyface. The new Otis is vicious under Chad Gable’s patronage ad would destroy anyone in their way.
The former Mr Money in The Bank’s interaction with tag teams did not go so well as his Heavy Machinery partner Tucker betrayed him shortly after Otis lost the MITB contract.
If they can deliver, WWE is likely to give the duo a tag team title opportunity. The Alpha Academy is the only heel tag team on the Blue Brand other than The Dirty Dawgs.
