Tonight on SmackDown, Rey Mysterio faced Seth Rollins in a no holds barred match to end the final chapter of their rivalry. Mysterio’s entire family was at ringside to support him.

Tonight also marked another occasion in the world of the pro wrestling industry – it was the 15th year of Eddie Guerrero’s death Anniversary.

Over the years, Mysterio never left a chance of paying tribute to his buddy. We have often seen Mysterio wearing the black EG band on his sleeve.

Tonight, on the 15th anniversary of Eddie’s death, Mysterio once again paid tribute to his friend and mentor. The master of the 619 did a vintage Eddie Guerrero as he climbed up to the top rope to emulate Eddie’s trademark frog splash.

The Saviour of SmackDown Seth Rollins also paid a tribute to the late Eddie Guerrero with the three amigos move. However, he could only go twice and could not deliver it for the third time.

Rey Mysterio won the match thanks to a little help from Murphy who turned on Rollins. After the match, it was vintage family drama for the Mysterios and Murphy.

As the contest reached its end, Murphy entered the ring to hand a steel chair to Rollins when Mysterio was down. However, the surprise came when he turned on Rollins and attacked him.

Mysterio then took advantage and delivered the 619 on Mysterio. Post the match and after the family hug, Aalyah went towards Murphy when Rey stopped her.
