Seth Rollins Gains Momentum Before Money in the Bank With Massive Win on WWE SmackDown

The main event of SmackDown live featured a huge fatal-four-way match between all four MITB contenders from SmackDown.Despite each man trying their best, Seth Rollins ultimately got the win in front of the sold-out crowd at Toyota Center, Huston, Texas (7/16)/.

The segment started off when Baron Corbin addressed his grievance for being poor. Kevin Owens came, listened to him, and dropped a stunner to shoo him away and clear the ring.

One by one, Big E, Seth Rollins, and King Shinsuke Nakamura joined Owens in the ring. As soon as the bells rang, ‘The Messiah of Friday Night‘ bid everyone adieu and tried to leave the match.

But Big E chased him down and hit a big spear on the floor. Owens came through with a flip drive on Big E at the ringside, and Nakamura delivered a flying knee to Owens. Nakamura rolled Owens back into the ring.

Nakamura and Owens targeted Big E and worked him over. Owens went to the top rope, but Big E fought him back and attempted a superplex. Rollins came back into the mix and tried to hit his own move, but landed hard as the men moved.

Rollins then fought with Nakamura with the latter, putting him on the turnbuckle and hitting a running knee. Nakamura hit the Exploder Suplex on Kevin Owens and went for the Kinshasa.

However, Big E came back and hit the Big Ending for a pin. But Rollins broke it up in the nick of time.

Now Big E and Rollins brawled over the ring. After sending the Powerhouse of Positivity to the floor, Rollins grabbed a ladder and tortured and Nakamura with it.

Rollins assaulted Nakamura over the announce table and climbed the ladder to attack The King. However, Owens interrupted him and climbed the ladder instead. He put Nakamura through the announce table with a huge Elbow Drop.

The fans were cheering loudly after the action took place. In the ring, Big E tried to hit the Big Ending on Rollins but the latter countered the move. Rollins then hit a sudden Stomp from a ladder on the mat and covered Big E for the win.

Following the match, Rollins climbed up the ladder inside the ring and unhooked the briefcase from the top. As SmackDown went off-the-air, Rollins celebrated with the briefcase, hinting at what was going to happen on Sunday.
