Seth Rollins might need his assistance once again, as he wanted to “embrace the vision” on SmackDown before being humiliated. On the last SmackDown too, Cesaro swung and leveled him with an uppercut.
The history of Seth Rollins and Murphy may see them together again
Murphy started his alliance with Seth Rollins at the beginning of 2020. A distressed and defeat-ridden Murphy (then known as Buddy Murphy) found his motivation and solace in the Monday Night Messiah.
The duo even won the RAW Tag Team Championships within one week of their alliance. Their reign lasted 42 days before they lost and started feuding with Rey Mysterio.
Rey Mysterio’s feud saw various angles. Not only did they “destroy” Mysterio’s eye, but it led to the debut of Dominik Mysterio. Dominik debuted against Rollins at SummerSlam in a street fight.

Following the PayBack loss, the relationship between Rollins and him turned sour. Eventually, Murphy aligned himself with the Mysterio family and subsequently started a relationship with Aalyah Mysterio.
But under recent circumstances, the storyline between Aalyah and Murphy was swept under the rug. As we reported earlier, WWE creative does not know what to do with Murphy anymore; hence he is off the grid.
