WWE Universe Reacts to the Shocking Separation of The New Day

WWE Universe got some devastating news on the first night of the draft. It seems an era is coming to an end as the New Day disbands next week. The wrestlers and the fans are shocked at the last-minute decision.

WWE Draft’s first day was going well for Big E. He defeated Sheamus and got his buddies Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods back after a long time. Both of them were out of in-ring action due to injury. Amidst the reunion, Stephanie McMahon announced the New Day got a title shot at Smackdown’s Tag Team Championship.

Not only did Kofi and Woods returned on SmackDown, but also they won the tag team titles from Shinsuke Nakamura and Ceasaro. Celebrations started pouring in as the trio celebrated their record seventh tag-team title reign.

However, the celebrations did not last long. As Stephanie announced in the last round of the draft, RAW selected the new SmackDown Tag Team Champions, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, to come from the blue brand. The New Day pointed to how Big E was omitted. Stephanie then announced that SmackDown had picked Big E.

It was announced later in the night that New Day will have their “farewell match” at next week’s Raw.

With Kofi and Xavier Woods out of the picture (and the brand), Big E won’t have any choice but to focus on himself. On the brighter side, WWE can bring the tag team back in the future as the team did not end in animosity.
