Soccer is a violent sport, and injuries can happen at any time of the match. This could be a normal injury to a full-blown heart attack on the pitch (yes, it happened). However, former WWE champion, Drew McIntyre reacted to a recent game where the goalkeeper performed a ‘claymore kick’ to a player of the opposite team.
Yes, a ‘claymore kick’, a move which looks dangerous enough when McIntyre performs with plain boots, was performed on a soccer pitch with studs.

The player injured is from the team Espérance Sportive de Tunis, also known as ES Tunis, which is a club based in Tunisia. However, what’s more, captivating is that the goalkeeper who hit him plays for the same national team – Libya.
Yes, you read it right. The goalkeeper and the player injured play for the same national team; however, during this match, the striker and goalkeeper were in opposing clubs.
The former WWE champion seemingly got hold of the clip and took to Twitter to share his reaction for the same.
“I guess we weren’t specific enough Don’t try this at home….at school, anywhere…especially on the pitch.” he wrote.

Is Drew McIntyre not in the title picture anymore?
McIntyre was a formidable WWE Champion and was always involved in the title picture, even after losing it. However, after being drafted to Friday Night SmackDown, his chances of becoming the champion again are looking slim.

The top prize on the blue brand is Roman Reigns’ WWE Universal Championship, and it doesn’t look like WWE is going to let McIntyre pin Reigns in the near future.
