From the announcement of the PLE taking place in Punk’s hometown to the cryptic messages on social media, fans have been buzzing. Finally, fans got what they asked for as Punk returned to a massive pop after the main event was over.

Despite not saying a word or entering the ring, Punk’s future feud has already spread like wildfire. Fans shared a video of Seth Rollins getting mad at Punk’s return. It is understandable as Punk’s return completely overshadowed the victory Rollins and Co. just achieved. This could hint at things to come.

Punk could aim for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Something that fans in attendance at the Allstate Arena shared on social media was Seth Rollins flipping Punk off. This took place off-air when the cameras stopped rolling. You could see Michael Cole trying to hold Rollins back.
