After Punk’s termination from AEW, fans speculated that he would find his way back to the WWE. Despite claiming that Punk would never be part of the WWE, Triple H finally got Punk. From the start of the night, CM Punk’s chants echoed through the Allstate Arena.

However, during the lead-up to Survivor Series: WarGames, for weeks, fans speculated Punk’s return. From the announcement of the PLE taking place in Punk’s hometown to the cryptic messages on social media, fans have been buzzing. Finally, fans got what they asked for as Punk returned to a massive pop after the main event was over.

Despite not saying a word or entering the ring, Punk’s future feud has already spread like wildfire. Fans shared a video of Seth Rollins getting mad at Punk’s return. It is understandable as Punk’s return completely overshadowed the victory Rollins and Co. just achieved. This could hint at things to come.
