The general public rightly considers all combat sports dangerous. However, people often ignore the risks involved in other sports as well. Bodybuilding, for example, requires a lot of rigorous training and complete submission, and dedication of the body to the sport. People aren’t often aware of the toll that a particular sport can have on someone’s body.

To this, Booker T added on with his own train of thought. While comparing Coleman with UFC fighters, he also added, “that stress and toll that these UFC fighters put on themselves to go out there and fight for their one night.

It is already upsetting that the fighters do not get health benefits for their work when it comes to MMA. Moreover, as Booker T added a pinch of harsh reality, things took a sharper turn of emotions.

I can only imagine what those guys feel like in the morning. Not just from the fighting part of it but from the training. You know, going into the training beating that dummy up all day,” said the commentator while putting himself in the shoes of an MMA fighter.

While some sports take a more direct toll on your body, others can just be as damaging, but in a more discreet manner. More and more efforts should be made by the sports council to reduce the factors causing such a toll on an athlete’s body. This will, in turn, allow more people to take part in the competitive world of sports.
