Daniel Cormier made his debut in WWE in EXTREME RULES 2022. Cormier appeared as a special referee in the match between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle. DC is a UFC Hall of Famer, who has now signed with WWE. It is still not confirmed whether he will fight or not. But fans are expecting an encounter between him and his old adversary Brock Lesnar.

UFC fighters like Ronda Rousey, Brock Lesnar, and Matt Riddle have also made a shift to WWE. It seems like WWE is the favorite place for UFC fighters post-retirement. Ronda had a match in Extreme Rules with Liv Morgan, which she won by submission. Before the match, WWE posted a backstage clip where both UFC Hall of Famer Rousey and DC were hanging out and joking around.

Brock Lesnar and DC share a mutual friendship with Ronda Rousey. Rousey has also stated in her previous live streams that she has a wonderful friendship with both stars. But she favored Cormier in a hypothetical fight between Lesnar and DC. 

After seeing two Hall of Famers in one Instagram post, fans reacted in excitement. But a majority of comments were about Derrick Lewis. The Black Beast currently holds the no. 7 spot in UFC rankings. Fans still remember the comments Lewis made about Rousey and they didn’t back down to troll Lewis about it.
