When Brock Lesnar was a part of the company, there was not much exposure happening for the MMA promotion. But with Lesnar in hand and a swarm of WWE fans looking to see their beast in action, Dana White had struck gold.

Not soon after Lesnar’s first few matches, the UFC took off in the mainstream consciousness. The way that Lesnar brought eyes to the UFC had never been before, and hasn’t been done since. Then comparing his drawings with that of a current megastar like Conor McGregor is seemingly not fair, but gives us a look into how much the sport and the company have grown.
UFC legend says that Brock Lesnar isn’t at Conor McGregor’s level
On his podcast, Joe Rogan was talking about how there will always be a big star in the UFC. Thereafter, he discussed the biggest draw in the history of the company. He said, “Brock would not beat Conor at this stage. If we were at the stage when Brock best Frank Mir, like when he was the World Champion, the highest he could draw was 2 million, the third highest. The UFC wasn’t as popular then as it is now.”
After this, they looked at the figures on the website itself and found out that Conor had 5 matches in the top 8, while Lesnar only had 2. Though, at one point of time, Lesnar might have been the biggest draw in the company, McGregor now took his place as the top guy in the company.

While Conor McGregor might be the biggest draw in the UFC, Lesnar can be rest assured that his place in WWE is secured. No one in the entire roster has been a bigger draw than him in years. But what will happen when McGregor thinks of changing places just like Lesnar did in 2011? Will the fans like McGregor’s persona of being better than everyone, or will he change to a gimmick? Only time will tell as he has always been one of the combat athletes that WWE will surely want in their roster.
