Ferguson has worked extremely hard to be where he is in the UFC World today. Of course, to reach a position like he has in the combat sports industry, one has to be trained properly.

Reportedly, Ferguson added legendary boxing trainer Freddie Roach to his list of coaches. In fact, he had released all of his cornermen after he suffered a defeat at the hands of Charles Oliveira at UFC 256.

Since then, he made the changes that helped him get back in the picture much stronger. He started training with Roach at Roach’s Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles. Additionally, he worked with boxing Olympian Pepe Reilly during the same time.

Apart from Freddie Roach, Ferguson worked with his old college wrestling coach Dave Mills and UFC veteran Ben Saunders. More than working with them, he added the duo to his cornermen.
