Talking with FanNation of Sports Illustrated, the UFC CEO has talked about how much Vince McMahon’s behavior has changed after the merger. He first gave some insights into how their relationship was before the merger. According to him, McMahon has always viewed him as nothing but competition. “My history with Vince isn’t a good one. He tried to f*** me so many times for no reason whatsoever except just to f*** me.”, said White.

He further added that it is in the past now and he views their relationship now with a different lens. White said, “Since day one of the deal, it’s like I’m dealing with a different guy.” He further added that he has been an incredible partner to him. White interprets it as, “It goes to show that when you oppose him, or he thinks you are opposing him, the guy comes after you blindly.” This highlights the fact that in the world of sports entertainment, Vince McMahon is a force to be reckoned with.

“I’ve always had a great relationship with them, always, even when we weren’t aligned back in the day,” White said. With that being said, White still can’t believe how much his relationship with Vince McMahon has changed. He even commended McMahon for his work ethic even at the age of 80.
