Cormier is a wrestling fan. In the past, he had expressed a desire to enter the ring. In the interview, he was asked if the abrupt release of Cain Velasquez changed his desire to work for WWE. As far as Cormier and WWE are concerned, it seems unlikely that he would debut during this time of crisis. WWE recently fired a big chunk of their roster which included Cain, Rusev, Luke Gallows, and. In this regard, it wouldn’t make sense for WWE to sign on with an expensive talent like Cormier.

However, once the situation returns to normal, WWE would want established wrestlers like Cormier on their table. He can be a major draw for a Saudi Arabia Show and can have some fantasy matches like with Matt Riddle or Brock Lesnar. Regardless of Cormier’s love for wrestling, it seems like he will have to wait for the coronavirus pandemic to end if he wants to move ahead.
