WWE’s Elimination Chamber started off with the Women’s Elimination match, followed by the Tag Team titles on the line. The middle of the show featured The Grayson Waller Effect with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. The native Aussie Grayson Waller was set to interview the two. However, before the segment started, Waller performed an iconic Shoey with a UFC star. This would be the second time he did the iconic celebratory gesture; the first was with Rhea Ripley at the press event prior to EC.

Grayson Waller does the Shoey with Tai Tuivasa at the Elimination Chamber

Coming out to the ring to a massive pop by his native audience, Waller was fired up. He went around the ring, greeting the fans before eyeing someone sitting in the front row. It was none other than UFC star Tai Tuivasa. He approached the star, and after a big embrace, he was greeted with two gold shoes. Each shoe contained a cold brew which they emptied out into the shoe.

Both men cheered to each other before performing a double shoey for another pop from the crowd. Waller got the biggest pop of his career in his home country. Despite being the heel in the storyline, the native Aussie could only get cheers from the audience. Even when he sat down with Rollins and Rhodes, the fans turned on Rhodes but never on Waller. This could also be the reason why Rhodes and Rollins took out Theory but never touched Waller near the end of the segment.

During the interview, Rhodes declared he was free to wrestle until WrestleMania. He challenged Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to a one-on-one match, anytime, anywhere. Hearing this, Rollins stepped in and claimed that it was time to take down The Bloodline and that Rhodes would not be doing it alone.

The sad ending for Austin Theory on The Grayson Waller Effect

While the show was The Grayson Waller Effect, Theory was the one to meet a sad ending. While trying to do his best The Rock impersonation, he insulted Rhodes. This led to Rollins smashing him through the promotional material, followed by Rhodes hitting the Cody Cutter.

This is not where it ended, unfortunately. Rollins then hit the Curb Stomp on Theory. All this went down as Waller sat there watching and did not help out Theory. This could be the first sign of cracks in their friendship. What did you think about the entire segment? Tell us down below.
