Julianna Pena passed controversial comments after defeating Amanda Nunes

After the defeat, Pena took a shot at Nunes, and claimed that she is the first mom-champ. Reason being, Pena won the championship after giving birth but Nunes is a mother, but did not give birth.

Many did not like the message it sent, especially, coupled with the loss. To some, Pena came across as a sore loser. Some fans directly called Pena out on this, but WWE Superstar Shayna Baszler took a sarcastic approach to call out Julianna Pena over the comment.

Originally, the match between Nunes and Pena was scheduled for UFC 265. However, Nunes tested Covid positive, and as a result the match was canceled. The idea was to wait until Nunes became healthy and was ready to put the title on the line.
