“You Know What I Mean?”: Dana White Brings Up Dwayne Johnson’s Name While Hyping Up the Return of Conor McGregor to UFC

Dwayne Johnson is one of the most popular and well-known faces in the entertainment industry. After gaining limelight with WWE, The Rock switched careers and joined WWE to pursue his career as a pro wrestler.

Soon after years of struggling, The Rock achieved fame and became one of the biggest entertainers in the whole world. Apart from being a former wrestler, and a full-time actor, Johnson is also an ace businessman, running several successful businesses.

Recently, The Rock was rumored to return at Royal Rumble 2023 and face Roman Reigns. However, it did not happen after Johnson claimed himself to be unfit for returning for a match inside the ring. But UFC president Dana White recently stole all the limelight with a major comparison with Dwayne Johnson.

UFC President Dana White compared his top fighter, Conor McGregor with Dwayne Johnson, and spoke about how similar both of them are. Both McGregor and Johnson are two of the top stars in their respective companies.

What did Dana White say and compare about Dwayne Johnson and Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor is scheduled to return to the octagon for a fight with Michael Chandler. Although, the date and location of the fight has not been revealed, it has surely excited White. Speaking in an interview, he compared the Irish MMA fighter directly with Black Adam actor, Dwayne Johnson.

He claimed how both of them are doing big business deals, and whenever they return, it is a big affair. White said, “He’s like The Rock, you know what I mean? The Rock is out doing all his business deals and doing all this stuff.” 

He further stated that whenever The Rock returns to WWE, everybody gets excited about it, and it is similar with McGregor. He also spoke about McGregor’s upcoming fight with Michael Chandler, and how it is a very big deal.

Why did Dwayne Johnson not return for WrestleMania 39?

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was rumored to return for a feud with his cousin, Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. However, as per current news and rumors the return might not be taking place, and Johnson might not return for the big event.

Dave Meltzer reported that while Johnson claimed not to be in the right shape for a return at WrestleMania 39, he kept his options open for a future return. However, for now it seems Johnson might not be coming back.
