Dwayne Johnson was successful in making Cody Rhodes and his teammate lose the tag team match during the first night of WrestleMania XL. This allowed Bloodline Rules to come into play as they aimed to make Rhodes’ match on Night Two a tall task. However, little did The Rock know that his move to defend his cousin would eventually backfire on The Bloodline itself.

Fans witnessed the return of John Cena and The Undertaker. The appearance caught everyone by surprise, including Johnson himself. However, he still managed to say a few words to his former colleagues before engaging in action with them. The American Nightmare was getting beaten up by The Bloodline. Even though Jey Uso came to his rescue eventually, his presence alone wasn’t enough. This is when John Cena entered the arena and taught Solo Sikoa a swift lesson.

Shortly after, “Final Boss” arrived at the scene. The Cenation Leader stood in the ring when Johnson shouted something while walking down the ramp. Johnson said, “Let the rock punch the f**king [inaudible due to censor].” Then, he went on to lay the Smackdown his old foe. However, the surprises didn’t end there.

Soon after The Brahma Bull thought he had saved his younger cousin, the lights went out. As they came back on; The Undertaker stood behind him, furious. DJ expected Taker to enter via the ramp in his trademark entrance. He shouted, “You want the same?!” moments before the Deadman gave him a choke slam and knocked him out for several moments, letting Rhodes finish his story.

The event gave the audience a spectacular 20 minutes with unexpected twists and turns at regular intervals. The least expected entrant was the Undertaker, who came in to help Cody finish the story and put an an to the longest reign of the 21st century in WWE.

What does this mean for the future of WWE? Would The Rock go after both WWE legends who helped out the former AEW superstar?

What could be Dwayne Johnson’s new course of action?

Now that The American Nightmare’s story has reached its destination, WWE is free to carry on with the original motive they introduced Johnson with. While there was speculation that The People’s Champion would betray his cousin at WrestleMania XL, the WWE legend proved everyone wrong by not giving up on Roman Reigns till the very end.

However, now that The Tribal Chief has lost his Undisputed Universal Championship, Johnson might return to his original plan and take over The Bloodline. This could result in a civil war among the members of the faction forced to choose sides.
