After a successful and long Intercontinental Championship reign, Gunther finally lost the title. Sami Zayn was able to continue his WrestleMania momentum from last year, and keep the head of his wife, child, Chad Gable, and Kevin Owens high. And, a lot of that credit goes to Zayn’s wife.

Entering the Grandest Stage of them all, Sami Zayn was extremely low on confidence, and motivation. However, it was Chad Gable who prepared him for the fight and molded him ready to face Gunther. However, there were moments in the fight, when Zayn found himself in a disadvantageous position.

Gunther kept dominating him and almost took home the victory. However, as pointed out by the fans, a major hand behind Zayn’s victory was his wife, Khadijah Sebei, who kept supporting Zayn from the ringside.

Seated in the front row, Zayn was able to find support and motivation from his better half in the time of need. Toward the closing moments of the match, when everything seemed lost, and Gunther almost the victory, Khadijah Sebei was able to reignite the passion and desire of winning in Zayn.
