As we know, Matt Hardy runs a popular podcast ‘The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy.’ An episode that aired on 30th December left Jeff Hardy fans confused. Matt openly spoke about his brother. Doing so, he gave an insight into the things Jeff went through in the last few tumultuous years. Finally, he hinted that The Charismatic Enigma may never come back to wrestling.
The past few years
As Matt began speaking about Jeff on the podcast, co-host Jon Alba posed questions about them. “I think we were going to see the Hardys as the AEW World Tag Team Champions if Jeff didn’t suffer that very unfortunate twist of fate.” Furthermore, Matt was also questioned about Hardy’s return to pro wrestling.
“It’s just very unfortunate, the things that happened with Jeff. “Maybe he comes back, maybe he doesn’t, but we were scheduled to do all kinds of things during the summer and it really sent me down a big path of detour following that, but it is what it is. We’ll see, I don’t know, I don’t know.”

Matt Hardy also spoke about the way in which the circumstances have impacted him. “It’s pro wrestling where you have to adapt and change on the fly, and I’ve made the most of it and tried to do what I can,” he stated.

Reactions and support for Jeff Hardy
Jeff has formed a large cult of fans over the years. Knowing that he might not come back was surely unfortunate for them. Fans were quick to take to Twitter and extend their support. What’s more, some fans even liked the decision. They believed Jeff should stop pro wrestling for his own sake.
Not the way to go out, but; (as much as it hurts to say, him being my fave wrestler of all time) it’s probably for the best. He needs to be away from stressful situations and the things that lead him to drink. He’s done enough and it’s time to be there for his family

One of my favourites growing up but honestly I’ve enjoyed enough Jeff Hardy matches to last a lifetime at this point and I’d be happy to see him ride off into the sunset now and properly look after himself
