As we are advancing toward this year’s Royal Rumble, several names of WWE stars are popping up over social media that the fans think might make an appearance at the 30-man Royal Rumble match. One such name that fans wanted to see compete inside the squared circle this Saturday was Sean Waltman. However, it looks like he might not be a participant in the 30-man match in 2023.

Sean Waltman won’t be competing in the Royal Rumble Match this year

A day before the first premium live event of 2023, Waltman denied all claims of him entering this year’s Men’s Rumble. The two-time Hall of Famer went on to his Twitter handle to put an end to the surfacing rumors of him appearing on Saturday.

Waltman claimed to be happy with how his life was going on right now and announced that the possibility of him fighting in Men’s Rumble 2023 is nil. He also admired his fans wanting to see him inside the Rumble ring.

“For the last 8 months, I’ve been enjoying life & eating whatever the f*ck I want. In other words, there’s no chance of me being in the Rumble. But I really appreciate those of you who have expressed their desire to see me appear.” said the 2-time WWF European Champion.

Upon this update, fans shared positive reactions. Here are some top comments.

Cody Rhodes returns to the Royal Rumble

Well, it seems like the chances of Waltman competing in the Men’s Rumble are zero, but one thing we know for sure is that Cody Rhodes is going to make his comeback on Saturday’s Royal Rumble.

WWE announced Rhodes’s entry in the Rumble earlier this month. However, The American Nightmare had already dropped the Royal Rumble bomb on the WWE Universe with his one-letter message on his Twitter handle. Fans reacted to this news very differently as they wanted WWE to keep Rhodes’ Rumble entry as a surprise.

The WWE Universe last saw The 2-Time WWE Intercontinental Champion inside the squared circle. There, he competed against Seth Rollins in Hell in a Cell match. Rhodes had torn his pectoral muscle on an episode of Raw and then entirely torn it off the bone during his preparation for his match against The Visionary.

Despite the odds being not in his favor, Rhodes managed to pick up the victory over Rollins. This was his third victory over Rollins, the first and send one being at WrestleMania 38 and WrestleMania backlash, respectively.
