Fans say the return of Vince McMahon puts Regal’s WWE future in jeopardy

A new report from PWInsider has confirmed that William Regal is back in WWE. Regal is appointed for the role of Vice President, Global Talent Development in WWE. The current Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, previously filled this role.

Mr. McMahon released Regal in the month of January 2022, apparently due to budget cuts along with many other Paul “Triple H” Levesque staffers. Vince’s resignation from the company last year in July paved the way for Triple H to bring back his friend and confidant.

But now, Mr. McMahon’s return to WWE has led fans to speculate about Regal’s future in the company.

Regal has a long monumental run in WWE. He has worked as a wrestler and a manager for the company. During his time as a wrestler (from 1998 until 2013), he held many championships.

The Wrestling Legend bagged the WWF Hardcore Championship, WWF/WWE European Championship, and WWF/E Intercontinental Championship five times, four times, and two times, respectively.
