“You Are So Inspiring” – Kim Kardashian Sends Her Regards to Tokyo Olympics 2020 Bound USA Athletes

As the Tokyo Olympics 2020 gets closer, many are getting excited about their respective countries. And actor and model, Kim Kardashian West has sent her words of encouragement to the Team USA that is set to compete at the Olympics.

A video message from Kim Kardashian was posted on the Team USA Twitter handle. Kim holds great admiration for her fellow American Olympians and wanted to give her words of encouragement to them and called their journeys ‘resilient’ and ‘inspiring’.

“Hi Team USA it’s Kim Kardashian West, and I just wanted to give you guys a little bit of encouragement. You guys are so resilient, you are so inspiring,” Kim said.

Moreover, Kim also acknowledged the tough circumstances the athletes are in. Not to forget that the Olympics were supposed to happen last year. And now with this year, there are several restrictions because of the COVID-19 pandemic and there won’t be any fans either.

“And I can only imagine what a crazy, you know, year it’s been with you guys thinking that you guys were gonna compete last year, and with all the changes and all of the COVID restrictions, I can only imagine how challenging this time is. So I just want you to know everyone back at home, loves you guys so much for supporting you we’re cheering for you. Go Team USA,” Kim added.

Kim Kardashian’s brand, ‘SKIMS’ has partnered with Team USA to design loungewear for Tokyo-bound athletes. She took great pride in working with the Olympians, as she had fond memories of cheering and getting inspired by the Olympians from the yesteryears. The limited-edition collection for the Team USA products is on early access sale at the SKIMS official website.

The Olympics is set to begin officially on 23rd but some events like women’s soccer will begin on the 21st. USA has sent over 613 athletes making it their econd-largest Olympic contingent.
