Sebastian Korda Says He Is Better Than His Grand Slam Champion Dad Petr Korda

American tennis player Sebastian Korda has been making progress on the men’s circuit. He has won the Australian Open juniors title in 2018. Incidentally, he won the title came exactly 20 years after his father won the Australian Open seniors title.
At the moment, Korda Jr is competing at the San Diego Open. He won his opening round match against Tommy Paul in three sets. After the match, Korda was asked an interesting question – who is a better player at 21, him or his father Petr Korda?

The 21-year-old player answered, “I think me actually. I had a better ranking. And I don’t think he’d won a title yet. So I’m taking me.”

Sebastian Korda skipped the Australian Open 2021

Reflecting on Sebastian’s season so far, he missed the Australian Open earlier in the season. However, he competed at the Miami Open and came as far as the quarterfinal.
After losing in the first round of the French Open, he was seen at the Wimbledon Championships. He had a great run until the fourth round and lost thereafter. He took part in tournaments in Washington and Cincinnati and did not impress by exiting in the early rounds.
