In a recent interview with L’Equipe which was translated, Noah Rubin talked a lot about the Adria Tour and the COVID-19 cases caused by it. He was not surprised when heard the news as he said,
“It was inevitable, It was enough to see the photos, they lived their lives as if nothing had happened. I understand that the situation is better in Serbia and Croatia, but we are talking about players who travel from one country to another, who approach fans, children. I don’t understand why tennis needed to take this risk.”

Noah Rubin also talked about how the remaining events will definitely be affected. He said that they will have to start increasing their safety measures now that active players are infected with the virus. This is something that is to be expected after what has happened.

In the interview, Noah also talked about Andrey Rublev who played the Adria Tour and just decided to quarantine himself for 14 days after he heard the news. Noah was happy that he did this but was not happy about his late realization as he said,

“I appreciate it, but his tweet in which he says that it affects everyone, that it is a global problem, that he says that now. Yes, we know, we have known for months. I’m sorry it took him so long to realize how serious it is and how quickly it can spread.”
In the end, Noah said that he hopes that nobody will be affected in Serbia or Croatia. And that is something every single person in the world is going to be hoping for.
