Tiger Woods has been No. 1 in the world for a whopping 683 weeks. He holds the record for 1st, 2nd, 6th and 11th longest streaks at No. 1 ever.

He has twice been No. 1 for over 263 weeks in a row. Never has anyone else been No. 1 for even 100 weeks.

Tiger Woods has won 14 majors, second only to legendary Jack Nicklaus with 18 major wins. Only 14 golfers have won five or more majors.

Woods has also won 4 Masters, 3 U.S. Opens titles, 3 British Opens and 4 PGA Championships.

Woods is the only player to have won all four professional major championships in a row, accomplishing the feat in the 2000–2001 seasons. This feat became known as the “Tiger Slam”.

Woods is one of five players (along with Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player) to have won all four professional major championships in his career, known as the Career Grand Slam, and was the youngest to do so.

Through 2007, Tiger Woods has participated in 223 PGA Tour events, winning 61 of them. A winning percentage of 27.4%, which is incredible considering the number of participants in every tournament.

In 2006, his percentage win was a bamboozling 53.3 and he followed it up with 45.8% in 2007.

Tiger Woods has only missed the cut 11 times in his 302 PGA Tour tournaments played.

Phil Mickelson, arguably the second best player of Woods’ era, has missed over 70 cuts.

On May 20, 2001, Tiger led the world golf rankings by 19.4 points over Mickelson, who second placed then

No. 1 in the world right now, Rory McIlroy, only has an 11.6-point lead.

Tiger Woods has won 26.1 percentage of tournaments on the PGA Tour. He’s entered 302 of them and won a whopping 79. Even more stunning is his 21.2 percent of majors won that he’s entered.

He’s 14 for 66 so far and has started out 14 for 46 (30.4 percent!).

One of the most unnoticed stats is that Woods has only finished outside the top 10 at the Masters just four times. He’s only finished outside of the top five a total of six times. Six times out of 17!

His finishes outside the top 10 are as follows: T15, T18, T22 and T40. If Woods only played the Masters for his career, he would surely be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
