Emma Raducanu has taken over the HSBC Sports’ Instagram channel for a day to have a Q&A session with her fans. In one story, the tennis diva talks about her favorite places to play and let’s just say Wimbledon did not make it to the list.

In what seemed like a fun Instagram story, Emma’s preference for Wimbledon might be permanently lost.

Emma Raducanu does not like playing at home grounds?

HSBC sport has surprised Instagram with their recent rendition- “Ask Emma“. Emma Raducanu has been answering her fans’ questions via Instagram stories of the HSBC account. Fans naturally have a lot to ask the current British no.1 tennis player.

The very first question that popped up from Emma’s fans was- “Where’s your favorite place to play tennis?” To which Emma answered, “My favorite place to play tennis in the world tournaments is Seoul and training is Singapore”.

The twenty-year-old tennis star might be still reeling from her abrupt Wimbledon loss in June this year. Emma made a wildcard entry at the Wimbledon Tournament 2022 and fans were hoping for a blast. However, in what came as a sudden shock, Emma was knocked out of the tournament in the second round. She faced defeat to Caroline Garcia of France.

In 2021, Emma made it to the fourth round at the Centre Court and withdrew from the competition. She became the second British player to make it that far after. Emma pulled out due to breathing difficulties during the match. Naturally, her comeback to the Centre Court was highly promising but not all days end well.

Emma is on a Q&A spree and fans are loving it

Emma continued to answer more questions from her fans on the Instagram stories. She says her favorite snack after practice is usually two egg whites and her satisfaction after a full day of training is her motivation. When asked about her tennis idol, Emma said she loves Li Na, the former Chinese tennis queen, and admires her “athleticism”.

We also discovered some fun facts about Emma like she can speak Mandarin and Romanian too!

Fans have been loving to get to know Emma off court and from what it looks like, Emma is having a great time virtually interacting with her well-wishers.

Emma was also asked about what she is looking forward to in 2023, and to that, her reply was- “My next world tour”.
