Who would have thought that 20 runs can be scored off 1 ball?
Well, this seems impossible and absolutely theoretical but if you’ll get your mind racing and start thinking about all the permutations and combinations, you might as well have an idea of what would have happened on the cricket ground to have this done.
Some insane hitting coupled with absolutely pathetic, indisciplined bowling with at least two illegal deliveries bowled were enough to make the world record of scoring 20 runs in one legal ball in 2012.

In a Big Bash League tie between Hobart Hurricanes and Melbourne Stars in 2012, Travis Birt smashed Clint McKay for three back-to-back sixes, the last two coming off no balls.
He also ended up scoring the fastest 50 in Big Bash facing just 22 deliveries, having struck 3 fours and 5 sixes in the process.
Clint McKay had no control whatsoever as he bowled two chest level full tosses, that too at an ordinary pace of about 120 kmph, only to have them dispatched over the fence for two massive sixes.
