With less than 10 days left to go in the 2016-17 NBA Regular Season, we are coming down the wire in spectacular fashion this season. The lower seeds in both the conferences have still not been decided and we’ll have to wait until April 12 for that. Here, we take a look at 3 potential Playoff Matchups that might set Round 1 of the 2017 NBA Playoffs on fire.1. Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

There has been no stopping the Westbrook v. Harden debate this season. Both of these players have been front-runners for the MVP award through the season carrying their teams to 6th and 3rd seed in the west respectively. There is no better solution to this MVP problem other than a Westbrook v. Harden duel in the round 1 of the playoffs. Regardless of who gets the regular season MVP, a Rockets v. Thunder series will settle this debate once and for all.2. Cleveland Cavaliers v. Chicago Bulls

Both Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls have performed below what was expected of them. Cavs might not get the first seed this year. Bulls have just jumped into the playoffs picture on a 4 game winning streak. Bulls have swept the season series against a star studded Cavs team 3-0. The Cavs must be ticked off about this season sweep and will look to avenge their 3 losses in the regular season with 4 straight wins in the playoffs.3. Boston Celtics v. Miami Heat

Two teams that have shocked the NBA and basketball fraternity this season are Boston Celtics and Miami Heat. Celtics are currently the 1st seed in the east and the way they’re playing they’re not losing it to Cleveland. Miami came from a potential lottery team to going on a 13 game winning streak to 8th seed in the eastern conference. Although Celtics have beaten Heat in all of their last four encounters, Miami Heat can not be underestimated. They have a core of young players and a bench that produces consistently with defence that can tangle any offence any day.
