Serena Williams: “The best part about being a mom is being there”

The twenty-three-time Grand Slam winner spoke on motherhood and stated, “For me, the best part about being a mom is just being there. There’s no feeling like being a mom. I’ve loved so many things before and I’ve loved so much but when I had my daughter it was a different kind of feeling and everyone would say that I cannot imagine this happening in my life without her. I could never connect to that really. Now it’s completely understandable.”

Even at tournaments, Williams is accompanied by her family. During the Australian Open this season, Serena had brought Olympia to her training sessions and was seen training with her coach Patrick Mouratoglou.
