1. Alexander Gilkes (2018 – present)

Maria Sharapova is currently dating British businessman, Alexander Gilkes. He is the owner and co-founder of Paddle8, an online auction platform that specializes in fine art and collectibles.

Sharapova and Gilkes started dating in 2018. The couple was first seen together in March 2018, as they went on a date to an art gallery in Beverley hills.

Gilkes was known as the most well-connected Briton in New York. In fact, he went to college with Prince Harry! He was previously married to Misha Nonoo, the woman who got Prince Harry and Meghan Markle together.

On 26th February 2020, Sharapova said goodbye to tennis after losing the first-round match at the Australian Open. Later in the year, she said yes to Gilkes’s marriage proposal, and both shared their engagement news on social media.

2. Grigor Dimitrov (2013 – 2015)

Maria Sharapova also dated fellow tennis player Grigor Dimitrov for two years.

Apparently, the Bulgarian saw Maria playing in 2013, and decided to email her right away. Maria revealed in her autobiography that she was confused about whether Dimitrov had attained the legal age for dating!

The two had a relationship that was admired by many fans. However, they separated in 2015 during one of the most difficult periods in Sharapova’s life after her heartbreaking loss to Serena Williams.

Interestingly, Grigor Dimitrov has dated Sharapova’s arch-nemesis, Serena Williams, in the past.

3. Sasha Vujacic (2009 – 2012)

Basketball player Sasha Vujacic is another one of Maria Sharapova’s boyfriends.

4. Charlie Ebersol (2008)

Maria Sharapova dated TV producer Charlie Ebersol in the year 2008. However, this was one of the most short-lived relationships of Sharapova as the couple separated in the same year.

Ebersol is the son of former NBC Sports Chairman Dick Ebersol.

The pair broke up in the year they started and Ebersol went on to date Britney Spears.
