Allyson Felix is currently the most decorated American female sprinter. But, she has been through her fair share of struggles to get there.

In Tokyo 2020, the 36-year-old grabbed 2 medals. Felix grabbed the bronze medal at the 4*100 meters and also was part of the Gold-winning 4*100 relay team. The athlete outdid everyone’s expectations and perhaps the legend Bolt’s too.
Recently, Usain Bolt lauded Allyson Felix for giving such an impressive performance even after going through the birth of her daughter.

Felix is an 11-time Olympic medalist and certainly the best when it comes to sprinting. In 2018, Felix gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Camryn. Despite having severe complications in her pregnancy, Felix fought like a true warrior and emerged stronger.
Then just a year later, in 2019, Felix qualified for the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Giving quite an impressive performance, Felix took home 2 medals. She also stunned legend Usain Bolt with her performance.
“And also Allyson Felix she actually got a medal after going through all with having a kid and everything,” said Bolt.
Not only did she make a comeback, but Felix also grabbed multiple medals, proving that becoming a mother was not going to stop her in any way.
“Going to what she did to really show up at the Olympics and really just get on the podium is a massive feat.”?
Allyson Felix displayed so much strength and bravery by not giving up, but only getting stronger. She proved to all the women that becoming a mother need not hold them back.
Launching Saysh and more
At around the time of her pregnancy, Felix had a need with her long-time sponsor, Nike. She felt violated by Nike’s regulations and decided to put her step down.
Felix took a brave step and left Nike. She had nowhere to go and was at risk of losing her source of income. However, she soon signed a deal with Athleta, a women-focused apparel company. This led the path for star gymnast Simone Biles?also sign a deal with Athleta.

However, Felix went on to do something no one ever thought. She announced that she was going to launch her very own company, Saysh. Saysh would focus only on women and their apparel. As a company, Saysh is completely run by women.
When pro athletes sprinted wearing big brands, it was Allyson Felix who was wearing her own brand, Saysh during Tokyo 2020 in yet another display of strength and courage.
