Roger Federer needed only four sets to dispatch Nadal in a hard-fought contest. The 37-year old took the win with a score of 7-6, 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 in three hours. Needless to say, social media was on fire after the Swiss ace booked his berth in the final. The who’s who of the sporting world and even well-known figures outside of sports, banded together to congratulate Roger Federer.

Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic did not need long to brush aside Roberto Bautista Agut. The final score read, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 in the Serbian’s favour. Novak Djokovic has been on a roll this season, and now, it seems that Federer is the only man who can stop him.
