Activision President Teases “Exciting New Plans” for Call of Duty Warzone While Feeling “Really Good” About Call of Duty Vanguard

Activision has a lot of problems to solve regarding the company’s biggest franchise in Call of Duty. The popular FPS franchise currently has one of the most celebrated Battle Royale titles in Warzone. Along with that, the series also includes massive successes in Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War. However, these titles have some major issues such as rampant hacking, lack of fixes for bugs and many more.
Fans have a lot of concerns about these games, along with the franchise’s upcoming title in Call of Duty 2021. The video game developed by Sledgehammer Games is rumored to be titled Call of Duty Vanguard. Fans know that the title can be a massive disaster because of the current situation even though it has a lot of potential. But the President of Activision, recently announced that the company feels good about this new FPS experience.

Activision President teases hopeful future for Call of Duty Vanguard
The franchise’ parent company Activision Blizzard recently held its Q2 2021’s Financial Investor Call. During the call, the company reported some massive profits and business following the success of its many franchises. Along with that, some of the executives talked about the future of its many IPs. Activision President Rob Kostich even revealed his excitement for Call of Duty Vanguard, which will release in the fourth quarter of 2021.
“We do feel really good about what Sledgehammer Games is leading for release in the fourth quarter of this year.”

Later on, he even teased some of the content that will be present during the game’s launch this year. He stated that players will receive a ‘robust game’ and the community will gain a lot of support post launch. This information should relax the players a bit after a torrid year because of the problems in Warzone.
“Content wise, it’s a really robust game at launch across all the modes, and the good news for us right now is we’ve gotten farther ahead on our live ops planning for supporting the community post launch, and the community should also expect that support to be very, very significant.”

Warzone to receive a massive update
Kostich later talked about the future of the highly popular Battle Royale title in Call of Duty: Warzone. He teased a bit about the game’s future by revealing that the developers have planned something really exciting for it. Other than that, he also mentioned that it will also receive one of its biggest updates which should excite the community.
“We also have really exciting new plans for Warzone, which Raven is leading, Now together with our premium release, we have some really fun, and what I consider the most significant updates, planned for the community across both Warzone and premium as we head into the fall.”

It remains to be seen how these games will perform, and how the community will react to it in the future. Activision President can tease a lot about the future. But players are skeptic about it, and they won’t believe the hype until they see it.
