Alexander Zverev did not have the best year in 2019 winning only one title at the Geneva Open. He will definitely not be happy especially when he looks at how he did in 2018. That year, he won a Masters title at Madrid and he won the ATP Finals.

He will be looking to do well in 2020 where he will try to pick up his first Grand Slam. In the last 3 years all the Grand Slams have been won by the ‘Big Three’ and everyone has been wondering when will the NextGen take over tennis.

The 2020 ATP Cup provides the perfect warm-up to the first Grand Slam of the year – The Australian Open. Since it is also played in Australia, it simulates the conditions of Australian Open it is probably the best way to warm up for the first Grand Slam of the year.

The ATP Cup is the first team event by the ATP since The World Team Cup which stopped in 2012. It will be played between 24 nations who will play ties of two singles matches and one doubles match. The finals of the tournament will be held at Sydney.
