AEW Full Gear has ended, and many fans claimed it to be the one of the best PPVs in recent history. Every match on the card was a blockbuster and none of them disappointed.

The night started with Kenny Omega vs Hangman Adam Page with Impact Wrestling vice president Don Callis on commentary. Omega showed why he is called ‘the cleaner’ as he defeated Page and became the No.1 contender for the AEW World championship.

The Orange Cassidy vs John Silver match was more on the lighter side. While both of them are known for their comedic angles, they both put on a great show with Orange Cassidy picking up the win.

Cody Rhodes showed signs of him turning heel in his match against Darby Allin. The TNT champion had the entire nightmare family in his corner but nothing could stop Allin from winning the belt.

Hikaru Shida defeated Nyla Rose to win the AEW Women’s Championship in a brilliant contest. The fans also got to see a cinematic match as Matt Hardy defeated long-time rival, Sammy Guevara. The Elite Deletion match is something we have all seen in the WWE in the form of the final deletion.

The next two matches were ones where tributes were given to colleagues. FTR paid a tribute by using moves like The Hart Attack, The Assisted Bulldog (Steiner Bros), The 3D The Twist of Fate/Swanton Bomb, and Meeting in the Middle (DIY).

MJF faced Chris Jericho to win a chance to join the Inner Circle. The former used a trick from Eddie Guerrero’s book which gave him the advantage and win. MJF and Wardlow have now joined the Inner circle.

The main event, we can surely bet, was worth every penny of every AEW fan. Both superstars gave their all in a bloodied match. The match had thumbtacks, barbed wire and even isopropyl alcohol on Moxley’s back. However, Eddie Kingston said ‘I quit’ after Moxley used a barbed wire to deliver a Bulldog Choke.

AEW fans call Full Gear the best PPV in recent history
